With a maximum of 10 students, Janice Kirstein and Pat Clayton work with students at their own pace to learn the concepts of values, composition, color, etc.  Working from life, we draw and paint from the still life in the winter and do plein air work when weather allows.  One month sessions are available.  Monthly fees are based on the number of Mondays in a month that are not national holidays and vary from $60-$80.

We will meet at the Sunset Hill Studio, discuss a particular issue in plein air painting then go out to work on location.  Students will need to have equipment to paint outdoors (easel, paintbox, etc) and have at least some minimal experience with oil paints.  It's great to work outdoors in our beautiful northwest!  If it rains we can return to the studio--darn!  Bring a lunch to have a mid-day picnic.  9 AM to 4 PM
